Domestic wind turbines are a superb way of generating electricity from wind if you have the space available and they are eligible for the government renewable energy feed in tariff scheme; therefore you can expect a fast return on investment. They are also very environmentally friendly, and a low cost source of sustainable energy.You can expect a return on your investment from your domestic wind turbine within 10 years, over its lifetime it will pay for itself many times over.

We have searched for a long time to find a suitable domestic wind turbine that dispels all the bad press that they have received. Allbrite are introducing an Upwind Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine with Acoustic Diffuser Ring. These turbines are virtually silent; they produce only 35db compared to 70db for other types of turbine. They don’t require planning permission in most situations because they can be installed to a height of less than 7m, with additional options for roof or wall fixings.
