Easy-Heat
insulation is now better than ever before with higher
strength and better insulation values making Easy-Heat
the number one choice.
Not only is it more cost effective but comes recommended
by the market leading adhesives company Granfix.
Granfix have carried out a multitude of test
with their adhesive and screeding agents and have
concluded that Easy-Heat insulation
is highly compatible.
Granfix are happy to endorse Easy-Heat to be used with their products.

Below is a few definitions of common phrases used with insulation. What is important to remember is that the Government have changed the way that houses are rated to be energy efficiency under "Part L" of building regulations.
| Resistance |
The measure of a material's ability to resist heat flow. The formula for Thermal Resistance is R = L / k where (L) is the material's thickness and (k) is the material's Thermal Conductivity constant. The higher a material's R-value, the better it insulates, and conversely. |
| Thermal Conductivity |
The heat energy that will be transmitted by conduction through 1 square foot of 1 inch thick material in one hour when there is a difference of 1 degree Fahrenheit perpendicularly across two surfaces of the material. |
| U Value |
The rate of heat loss, in British thermal units per hour, through a square foot of a surface (wall, roof, door, windows, or other building surface) when the difference between the air temperature on either side is 1° Fahrenheit. The U-value is the reciprocal of the R-Value. |

As you can see Easy-Heat
has either the same or better values than that of
the market leaders and has the added benefit of
being lightweight and easy to transport. Easy-Heat
is also a fraction of the cost of the other known
brands making Easy-Heat
the right product at the right price.
