The project involved the renovation of an old building in Palace Street to be converted into luxury apartments, as part of the project it was decided that Allbrite UK Ltd would supply the heating solution which is discreet and highly controllable.
The flat ribbon underfloor heating mat was chosen for its fast heat up times and its ability to fit under any flooring product.
Allbrite were able to specify the heating requirements from plans that were provided by the M&E company and Electrical contractors. As the project was supply only, the technical team within Allbrite UK Ltd were always on hand to offer advice to the onsite installers.
As with any large project there were changes to the designs first submitted which Allbrite was able to adapt and change its underfloor heating specifications accordingly. Allbrite Supplied the insulation, underfloor heating, thermostats, adhesives, low tog carpet underlay and other accessories to enable an effective installation.
The installation covered eight floors of the luxury apartment block, the professional occupants can now be assured of a highly responsive heating system that is hidden as well as silent.
The benefits of underfloor heating over conventional heating systems can be seen immediately with no radiators on display, no servicing required, no noise from air locked pipes to name just a few.
